About our lampshades:

  • All our shades are handmade to order, so please allow 14 working days from payment.

  • In the interest of the environment & to keep your delivery costs to a minimum, we used clean and recycled packaging, wherever possible.  So please don't be alarmed if your lampshade arrives in a box previously used for fine champers or toilet paper!  Please endeavour to reuse, recycle or compost the box & packaging responsibly.

  • On the rare occasion that an item is out of stock, we will inform you straightaway & advise of an estimated delivery date.

  • All our lampshades fit either an Australian/UK lamp fitting (29mm/B22) or a European fitting (IKEA or Freedom lamp - 41mm/E27).

  • The lampshade backing we use is of high quality & has been designed & engineered for lampshade manufacturing; it is anti-yellowing, anti-static, UV stabilisation & fire resistant.

  • All lampshades come with a removable adaptor (to fit both B22 or E27 fittings).

  • At the time of order, please specify whether a pendant (ceiling lamp) or a table/floor lamp is required as our shades are specifically made to your order and cannot be altered once made.  We will not refund for changes in mind or mistakes in sizes or fittings.

  • Please only use maximum 40W light bulbs (bulbs not included)

  • Lampshades are for internal use only and are not made for outside use. 

Returns:

  • We're confident that you'll love any product you buy from us, as great care has been taken to produce a product of high quality. 

  • All products have been tested & photographed, prior to shipping. 

  • If you return goods stating they are defective, we will examine the returned goods & notify you of your refund within a reasonable period of time. We will process the refund as soon as possible.

  • No refunds granted for change of mind or wrong size chosen by the customer.

  • All return shipping costs will be covered by the customer once a refund has been agreed to by us - Two Shady Ladies will not be responsible for any incurred costs for returns.

Damaged Goods:

  • Every product we sell is of the best quality & we take care to package all orders in a safe & secure manner. Sometimes, however, items can get damaged in transit. In the event of this happening, we will make every effort to rectify the situation.

  • When you receive your goods, please check them immediately. Any transit damage must be notified by email with photos of damage to us within 5 working days of receipt of your order.

  • Claims for damage will not be accepted beyond this time. 

  • Original packaging to be used.  In the case where original packaging is not available, equivalent packaging is to be used.

Product information:

  • Whilst we have done our best to photograph & depict all of our products accurately, colours may vary from device to device.

  • Materials used in the production of our lampshades are specifically designed for lampshade manufacturing & are: fire resistant, anti-yellowing, anti-static & have UV stabilisation.

  • As with most fabrics, some fading may occur if fabric is placed in direct sunlight - particularly silk & linen. Because of this, we strongly suggest your lamps are not placed in direct sunlight to help maintain the integrity of the product.

Cancellations:

  • Once payment is made, there can be no changes of mind or refunds.

Transit Damages:

  • In the unlikely event that an item arrives damaged, please notify us within 5 days of delivery (Claims for damage will not be accepted beyond this time).

  • In most cases, we will be able to send out a replacement right away; however, in some cases it may not be possible to supply an exact replacement, in which case a refund or exchange will be offered

Resending returned items

  • If delivery of your order has been attempted unsuccessfully the package should be held at a local post office or collection centre. If not collected within the specified timeframe, the package/s will be returned to us. We are happy to resend packages, but any additional costs will be incurred by the customer. 

Security and Privacy:

  • We ensure that your name, address, credit card details & any other information you give us will be used responsibly by us.

  • Our secure server encrypts your personal information, including credit or debit card.

  • Confidential information such as your credit card number will be used only to fulfill your order - we do not store credit card details, nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties. 

Mailing list:

  • If you sign up to our mailing list, we will only email you from time to time - we promise not to swamp you with emails & communications!

  • Should you wish to be removed from the mailing list at any time, please follow the ‘unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of our newsletters or email us directly at hello@twoshadyladies.com.au

  •  Our database only holds your email address and will store no other personal details. We will never disclose your email address to any other individual or company.
